Lois Kaplan Seaman has been working for Miami-Dade County Public Schools
for twenty-eight years. She loves Richmond Heights for its
great history and diversity. She particularly loves teaching
language arts because reading and writing take great imagination and
thinking power.
Ms. Seaman stays very active at school. She is the language arts
department chair, EESAC chair, United Way
Ambassador,BookIt! facilitator,
FCATExplorer.com administrator, one of the Edusoft administrators, and tennis
coach. She encourages students and parents to become involved in school and
community.
Ms. Seaman loves animals, music, and exercise. She has donated her
hair to Locks of Love. If you are interested in learning more about the
Locks of Love organization, please visit LocksofLove.org or speak to Ms.
Seaman about what donating hair involves.
Ms. Seaman's mission is to create independent, critical learners and
thinkers who are prepared to do well- not only on FCAT and other
standardized tests, but also in becoming active and responsible members of
society, who will take care of her in her very, very old age.
