Latin homework is to learn the new vocabulary, study each day's lesson and reveiw old vocabulary. The length of studying will vary, depending on the student. Strong Latin students may only need 5-15 minutes, while those who struggle need to dedicate a greater amount of time each night. Because Latin is a language that builds upon prior knowledge, students are strongly encouraged to not get behind in their studies and to diligently review old and new material.

Occassionally, students will have incomplete classwork they are assigned to finish at home. This should be rare.

6th & 7th Grade Online Latin Resources: While there are no websites dedicated to First Form Latin, students may still benefit from playing some of the Latin review games online. These can be found under the "Website Links" icon, near the bottom of the page.

8th Grade Latin students are continuing with the Wheelocks curriculum. By going to the homework icon for "Website Links", students can scroll near the bottom of the list to find chapter vocabulary lists, Latin review games, practice quizzes online, etc. Currently, 8th grade Latin students are reviewing old chapters and vocabulary to refresh any material lost over the summer. We are reviewing two chapters per week.
