Egg-cellent Egg Exchange

2008 Community Egg Exchange

Our wonderful spring project has come to a close. 65 classrooms signed up to exchange large, decorated, paper eggs to one another. The eggs were decorated to represent our community, state, city, or region. It is a great way to learn about other regions of the country. Because there were so many classrooms that wanted to participate, I split the large group into 3 smaller, more managable groups.

Here's how it worked:
Decorate large, paper eggs to represent your city, town, community, state or region. Some ideas include: state flower, insect, animals, trees, flag, map, historical landmarks or events that are special for your community. Make enough for everyone on your list .
Mail all eggs by March 31. Earlier is always okay. We were all hoping to receive our eggs by April 10th.
