My name is Malinda Ponton and this will be my 20th year of teaching grades 1, 3 and 5 plus one year as a science resource teacher. Most of my 20 years, 12 to be exact, has been as a 1st grade teacher. My heart definitely belongs to 1st grade! I love the smiley faces, eager to learn and excited to share. I'm looking forward to a fresh start this year with a new classroom of bright eyed, enthusiastic new children. We are going to have a wonderful year learning and growing together!
