When is homework due?

Homework is due every Monday when assigned on the monthly homework calendar.
Please complete the homework as it is assigned. Do not do a months worth of
homework in one night. It is very important to work with your child to
practice the skills we are learning at school!

The short answer is no. Toys can be brought IF they go along with the Show

My child cannot fasten their belt!

There are many uniform pants and shorts that do not have loops. If there are
no loops they do not have to wear a belt. I am happy to help with belts!
After a little practice little hands are usually able to get the hang of it.

Can I come for lunch?

Please wait until 6 weeks of school has passed and then you are welcome
anytime! We ask that you wait because it may be difficult for your child (or
other children in the class) to see a parent at school and not be able to go
home. It is also important that rules and routines are established in the
lunch room.

What is the Buzz Book?

The Buzz Book is part of our morning meeting. I write on chart paper the

for you to share as a family.

Does the color of smile on the behavior folder mean anything?

Nope! All that matters is that the smile is colored in. If it is crossed out
it means that your child had trouble making a good choice. I will always
write a short note explaining what happened.
