We are asking each student to save his or her pencil pouch from this year,
this is a good way to “recycle” and not be wasteful. If your child’s pencil
pouch is not in good enough shape to be recycled, then you can purchase a
Pencil pouch from the SJV bookstore on “Meet the Teacher”.
Bring all supplies to “Meet the Teacher”. It is important that supplies are
clearly labeled with your child’s name. On this day we will help the
students organize their supplies, so that we are ready to begin learning on
the first day of school.
If you are recycling your old pencil pouch, it would be very helpful if you
put your child’s crayons, colored pencils, one glue stick, 5 sharpened
pencils, scissors, ruler, rectangular eraser, and highlighter inside the
pouch. If not just bring the supplies in a bag and then put them in the
pencil pouch
