This year will be my forth year teaching at Suncoast. I can't believe it!!I
am so grateful to work at such a wonderful school. I moved to Sarasota from
West Palm Beach where I attend Palm Beach Atlantic University. I loved Palm
Beach, but was excited for something new. I now call Sarasota my home. I
love living in Florida and taking advantage of what it has to offer, such as
being at the beach or scuba diving. I try to visit the mountains (any
mountains) every winter for snowboarding with my brothers. Traveling is a
big part of my life. I love experiencing new places and cultures. I have
been to many different countries and have a wish list of many more I'm
waiting to see. My dog, Sophie, is one of my favorite things in life. She
makes me smile everyday. My parents still live in Anderson, Indiana where I
grew up. I have two brothers who live in Chicago and Seattle. I love to
visit them all! Nothing is better than time with family! The most exciting
news in my life right now is my recent engagment to my boyfriend of 5 years.
I am having fun planning for the wedding and preparing for our new life
together. I strongly believe that each student is in my class for a reason
and I am very excited for this year as we grow together!!
I am still in the process of creating my Hopes and Dreams for this year.
