I graduated with honors from the City College of New York, where I earned
a Bachelor of Science in Bilingual Education. I am certified to teach ESOL,
Spanish, and students at the primary level. In 2008 I attained my
National Boards Certifiction in Literacy.
Before teaching first grade I taught third grade for four years. This year
I am proud to say will be my seventh year teaching first graders at Silver
Palms Elementary.
During my free time I love to hang out with my family, read on my Kindle, watch So You Think I Can
Dance and visit museums. My dream is to open up my own children's
museum one day.
I live with two wonderful guys- my husband Bobby and my son Armand who is a
seventh grader. We also live with our lovable dog
named Jadin.
Through my teaching I hope to inspire each child to live up to his or her
full potential.
