Comp Theatre Class
Includes all items below and additionally -
Rehearsal Gear -
GIRLS -beige or black jazz shoes (flat), rehearsal dance wear: black
leggings and/or jazz pants, hair tie or clip - no flip flops or tight
jeans!
BOYS -T-shirts - Sweat pants and beige or black jazz shoes (flat)
Basic Stage makeup kit and soft bag for items - eye makeup,
blush, foundation (one tone darker than your skin), lip color -
(choose a mat color to compliment your skin to begin with), makeup
remover, makeup applicators. Makeup color might need to vary with
costuming. Label all personal items - including makeup bags.
District/States Competition outfit
GIRLS & BOYS -
black "Docker" type slacks, black comfortable shoe or solid black
sneaker - no open toes, and Troupe Shirt (burgundy - our school color)
you will be able to special order these at the beginning of the school
year - 27.00 each
Drama I
Will need to find and bring in various costume pieces and props for
projects and performances.
Projects will include set design and construction of a model, scene
work, monologues, theatre history project with varied visual displays
- to be assigned.
It is HIGHLY recommended that each student acquire his own "side by
side" Shakespeare edition of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Drama II
Will need to find and bring in various costume pieces and props for
projects and performances.
It is highly recommended that each student acquire his own "side by
side" edition of Shakespeares' KING LEAR.
Stage Craft
No loose clothing or flip flops, hair ties, closed toe shoes or
sneakers - work gloves, personal tape measure (50 ft), Phillips Head
screwdriver, flat head screw driver, small personal key chain
flashlight, "C" wrench - sweater or hoodie for the cold theatre area -
good work attitude.
