Important Note from Intensive Math
(Topics for each grade level are listed below)

 Dear Parents/Guardians, 

The 2nd grading period ends Friday, January 13, 2012 is the last day. That is only two weeks after we return from Winter Break. Students will be taking a mid-term exam during the week of January 9th – 13th. This mid-term will count as a grade for the 2nd grading period. It is also a test that will give your student the opportunity to test out of intensive math for the second half of the year. Students must score an 85% or higher in order to leave intensive math and go into another elective.

 

We will be reviewing topics covered during the first week we return from Winter Break. I am also including a list of these topics in case you and your child would like to study over the break.

 

If your child checked out a math textbook all the materials along with examples and practice exercise are within the chapters listed below.

6th Grade Mid-Term Review Topics

(Mid-Term covers Chapters 0 – 5)

 

The mid-term will consist of 45 questions. Students will have to answer 38 out of the 45 questions correctly in order to “test out” of intensive math.
