Lori Turkovics is pleased to be returning for a third year to The Student
Leadership Academy. She will be the 7th Grade Honors Academy Instructor
and SLA’s Curriculum Coordinator.
Mrs. Turkovics graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Behavioral Science. She is certified by the State of Florida in the
following areas:
Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum, Grades 5-9 (all subjects)
Psychology, K-12
ESE (Exceptional Student Education), K-12
Gifted Student Education (endorsement forthcoming)
In addition to the above Mrs. Turkovics has training with ESOL
(English for Speakers of other Languages), and Kagan and Harry Wong
disciplines.
She is very excited about SLA’s new 7th Grade Honors Academy and looking
forward to a promising year ahead!
