Welcome to 6th grade!!    First day of school: August 18th!

Summer Homework:
Complete your summer packet that is available on the SLA main website. This packet it due the first day of school.
Please take your time to be familiar with the material before entering sixth grade.

Parents of incoming sixth graders:
Please encourage your children to complete the summer packet mentioned above. Also, when school starts please send your children with the needed supplies. Homework will be given on a regular basis and students are expected to write their homework in the provided agenda book and return it on the due date. Thank-you for your help at home. 

PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD'S AGENDA EACH NIGHT FOR HOMEWORK, MAKEUP WORK, AND OTHER ASSIGNMENTS.

This Week's Schedule

I usually update this link on Fridays, but occasionally it may not be updated until Monday.

Materials you will need for science are:

1. Loose paper.

2. One subject spiral notebook, college ruled is preferred.

3. Pencils.  I do not allow students to use pens for my class.

4. Good eraser.

5. 1" PLAIN three ring binder.  Please do not buy any of the fancy ones.  I do not have room to store these in the classroom.  

6. A folder will not be needed.
