MONDAY- For writing, we learned about narrative grabbers and
beginnings. We did a project where
you research a nocturnal animal.
For math, we worked on balancing equations and working backwards. For science, we did a KWLM chart on the
solar system. It was our first day
of P.E. It was fun, but it made us
have no recess. We had chicken
nuggets for lunch.
TUESDAY- In the morning, we finished our math. For writing, we made a G.P.S. After that, we put our nocturnal animal
research on a cube made of paper.
For lunch, we had spaghetti.
For math, we learned how to find a rule and we did our extra practice. For science, we finished our KWLM
charts and put our favorite question on an index card that Mrs. Raude taped to
the door. Then we researched the
planets, moons, comets, asteroids, meteoroids, and the sun in groups.
WEDNESDAY- We worked on our nocturnal animal research
project. Then we wrote a narrative
about what would happen if you could fly for 48 hours. We had a substitute. We went to P.E. and had another
substitute for it. For lunch, we
had grilled cheese sandwiches and ribs.
Today was our ice cream day.
We took a math test for Chapter 9.
Then we finished our jigsaw for science and copied it down. We also had an assembly at 8:30 A.M.
that talked about Red Ribbon Week.

Monday: - In the morning we stated with a writing activity and moved on to read chapter 10 of Running Out of Time. After that we did a little research on the computer and then went to lunch. When we came back from lunch and settled down, Mrs. Raude our teacher gave us a math test and then we did science which was B-O-R-I-N-G!!. At the end of the day we all received cookies.
Tuesday: - To start of the day we completed our writing activity and did our Running Out of Time contracts. Today at lunch they served popcorn and chicken. When we got back to class we did some math activity and moved on to do science for the rest of the day. Wow!! We did so much science that we were exhausted.
Wednesday: - At the beginning we blasted off with a writing activity. Mid morning we read chapter 11 & 12 of Running Out of Time. After retuning the books back to our teacher we completed our Running Out of Time contracts. Yes! After that we had a free time in class and then when to lunch and they served us Mauricio after that we did a Mini benchmark test. When everyone completed that we moved on to do our regular math. And the last thing we did that day was science and we called it a day.
Thursday
: - Today was early dismissal for the whole school. In the beginning we stated with reading because we went to an assembly. After that we completed our writing activity and read again. We had corn dogs in the class for lunch since it was early dismissal; and we moved on to do first in math on the laptops. At 12 noon class was dismissed and my dad picked me up.
Friday: - Thank God is Friday! There is no school. Yay!

Monday: Today we finally did our horrifying spelling and
horrendous vocabulary tests. But I have to admit, it does help
you get smarter. I got a 100% on my vocabulary test which was
my first for vocabulary. Next we took our peaceful math test
that we took in ease.
Tuesday: Today something strange happened. Yesterday our
homework was note cards but we did not review them! Usually
every Tuesday we review our note cards, but today we did not.
Mrs. Raude assigned us page 39 for Math homework. It all had
to do with multiplication, division, and related facts. After
that, Mrs. Raude split us into different groups. Then we took
a test about the Calusas and many other native Floridian tribes.
Wednesday: Today we reviewed multiplying and dividing one
digit numbers which we knew since 2nd grade. We all finished
in a quarter of a quarter second. Pretty quick! Not too
shabby! By the time we were done we had at least 100 hours to
go to finish math. Also we were so happy because Mrs. Raude
cancelled our Critical Thinking question. AWESOME!
Thursday: Mrs. Raude assigned us mind bender. This week it was
extremely uneasy because we had to unlock this code and it
would tell us a secret message. In art class we made three
dimensional figures that looked like pyramids. Alannah made
one that was decorated like a butterfly. It was polka dotted
and had a lot of pizazz.
Friday: Today we learned so many things that we were smarter
than Albert Einstein X 1,000,000. We learned math, science,
writing and even social studies. In math we learned to
multiply and divide AGAIN. In writing, we published our
wonderful essays about which job we would like to do when we
grow up. I chose a veterinarian. In social studies, we took a
test about different Floridian Indian tribes. After that, we
ate lunch and then the class took our spelling and vocabulary
tests. This was a fantastic week!
