Welcome Back to School 3rd Graders!!!
Third Graders, Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! I would like to take this time to welcome you to our classroom. I am looking forward to having all of you in my class. I am sure you are just as eager as I am to begin the new school year. This year is going to be an amazing, exciting, interesting, and fun filled year.
I hope that you are just as excited about this school year as I am. We will be learning and participating in many interesting and challenging activities. This will be a very important year for the third graders. Reading is an important part of our curriculum. We will be participating in the FCAT Reading and I am certain that your child will leave this classroom a successful reader, developing full understanding and comprehension. I have planned exciting and amazing reading topics. That will keep you on your toes. Math will never be left behind. I have challenging activities that you will love. Third graders will also be developing writing skills to prepare for next year. We will be working diligently in all of the three subjects, in addition to the science and social studies. Technology will also be incorporated throughout the year. I am certain that you will love coming to school and will want to be a successful student.
