CHAPTER 7 TEST 2/13(TUESDAY)
Welcome to the beginning of another school year! I am looking forward to
getting to know you this year and hope we can have an exciting year. Please
bookmark this website for future use.
The calendar tab on the left has the daily work. If you are absent, you can
go on this link and get the daily work so that you don't fall behind. The
documents/worksheets will have any documents or worksheets we use in class
that can be downloaded to complete for homework or in the event of absence.
Please check the supply list. It is important to have all required supplies
every day. If you run out of colored pencils, or ink in your pen, please
replace them.
SPIRAL NOTEBOOKS MUST BE KEPT UP REGULARLY. ALL STUDENTS WILL BE INSTRUCTED
TOGETHER ON HOW TO PUT ITEMS INSIDE THE BINDER. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE PAPER
FROM THE NOTEBOOK FOR USE ELSEWHERE.
Students must wear their school ID's at all times while on campus. Cell
phones may not be on during school hours and should be left in backpacks, not
in pockets. Students must follow the Dress Code as it is stated on the TTMS
website. Denim of any color is not permitted. Knit pants and skirts or
shorts are not permitted. Clothing should not be skin tight. Midriffs
should not be showing.
All class work and homework will be posted on this website. When students
are absent, they can log on and get the make up work so that they are not
falling behind.
Each week, students will have a primary source document to analyze.
Instructions for this will be given at the start of the second week of
class. Any students absent will need to be responsible for getting the
instructions. The document of the week will be assigned every Monday and
will be due every Friday. It is imperative that students learn to work with
primary sources before transitioning to high school.
Students should have all required supplies by the end of the first week of
classes. Students must bring all supplies every day, including the notebook.
Work turned in without names will be given a Zero.
Grades will be calculated as follows:
TESTS 25% Quizes 15% Classwork 20%
notebook 10% Documents of the week 15% Homework 15%
LATE HOMEWORK will be accepted one day late only for half credit.
Students may NOT chew gum or eat or drink in the classroom, including
water. Water bottles are not to be seen. Students may not get out of their
seats without permission. Paper can be thrown away on the way out the
door. Students should not be talking when the teacher is talking or at any
other time they have been asked to work quietly. Students should be in
their seats when the bell rings, ready to begin the days assignments. This
does not mean dashing through the door or sitting in their seats talking.
In order to maintain the best quality work environment, it is imperative
that all students adhere to the class rules and policies.
The first infraction will result in a verbal warning, the second will result
in a parent phone call or letter, the third will receive a detention, and
