Be sure and </DIV> <DIV>check over the math homework and sign it each day. Please have your </DIV> <DIV>child practice with flashcards or on computer math websites daily so </DIV> <DIV>they know the facts instantly. They should know their <BR> </DIV> <DIV>addition facts to 9+9=18 and subtraction facts up through 18-9=9. Study 7s and 2s mult. facts.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Reading worksheet - Mon. homework. Read parent letter on the back and </DIV> <DIV>do together. <BR> </DIV> <BR> <DIV>Please monitor their library book A.R.reading and READ and discuss </DIV> <DIV>WITH them daily. Read a minimum of 10-15 pages daily.They should take<BR> </DIV> <DIV>an A.R. test on one book each week. <BR> <BR> </DIV> <DIV>Study reading vocabulary daily<BR> sprout- when something sprouts, it begins to grow<BR> damp- if something is damp, it is a little bit wet<BR> transformation- If someone or something has gone through a transformation, it has been changed.<BR> harmony- if two things are living in harmony, they are in agreement, living peacefully<BR> suppose- when you suppose something, you think it is true.<BR> roost: Birds roost, or perch, when they sleep in trees at night.<BR> spears- If someone spears something, they stick something sharp through it.<BR> strikes- If someone strikes something else, it hits it.<BR> glimpse- When you get a glimpse of something, you get only a quick peek at it.<BR> maze- A maze is a winding set of paths that is like a puzzle. <BR> <BR> </DIV> <DIV>Look for the reading test, spelling test, math test,and math facts</DIV> <DIV>test on Tuesdays, also other graded papers.
