OBJECTIVE: Students will identify author's purpose, tone/s, and rhetorical strategies.
1) Two Marriage Proposals: Students will use their graphic organizers and annotated passages to complete a mini-write (20 minutes)
2) Silently students read CB model papers. Small groups score them, and justify the scores.
