All children must be in their seats no later than 8:35. Please make sure your child is on time every day! It is very disruptive when I have to stop my lesson and change the attendance roster because of tardy students. What if my child arrives after the 8:35 bell?
You (along with your child) must go to the Main Office to pick up a tardy pass. Please do not send your child by themself. If you are here on time, you can avoid a long delay in the office.Back to Top

Getting your child to school on time! I'm a real stickler for this one! Please make every effort to get here BEFORE 8:35. Choose a wake up time for your child and then go back 10 minutes. It always worked for me with my children.Back to Top

What does my child need for the first day of school?
Our wonderful P.T.A. has compiled a list of supplies needed for Kindergartne.Please get ALL of the supplies on the list. Be sure to label all of your child's belongings. Everyone has the same stuff! All children should have a backpack (bookbag) that is large enough to fit their homework folder into. If possible, please purchase bookbags WITHOUT wheels. All children must also have a lunchbag or lunch money. Back to Top

How does the lunch in the cafeteria work?

What if my child buys lunch?
I believe lunch costs $2.25 per day. If your child brings money for lunch, make sure it is in an envelope with their name on it. It is MUCH better if you send in more than one days worth of money. Whatever is left over will go into their account for future use.Back to Top

Our school logo must be on the shirt. Only black or khaki pants, skirts or shorts are permitted. Jeans and our school spirit shirt may be worn on Fridays. I suggest that all children wear sneakers to school. We go to the PE and have recess several times a week and sneakers are best for running. Please double or triple knot your child's shoes in the morning. No sandals are permitted in school. No Crocs allowed either. Sorry.Back to Top

Should I join the PTA?
Definitely! Even if you can not volunteer your time, please join. We are very fortunate to have such a strong PTA that supports our school and the students. My class ALWAYS wins the contest for the first class to have 100% parent participation. Please don't let me down. Thanks.Back to Top
