Home Learning is an important extension of our school day. Home learning
will be displayed on the board and students are required to write it in
their agendas before the end of the day. Agendas are available in the
student services area.
Home learning will be checked daily, since it is important for students to
receive timely feedback, in order to clear up any misconceptions.
If a student fails to complete a home learning assignment they will be asked
to complete a No Home Learning slip. Please help me, by making sure that your
child completes his/her home learning when assigned.
It is also imperative that your child studies his/her multiplication facts.
Students will be given a mad minute pretest at the beginning of the week, and
a post test on Fridays which will count as a grade. We are about to begin our
rigorous math curriculum and your child will benefit from having a good grasp
of their multiplication facts. It is my goal to achieve this before January.
Please help by making sure your child is studying. I will do my part by,
among other things, having each child use the program FAST math when ever
possible.
