These words listed below make up about 1/3 of all printed material. While

some words may be "sounded out," most are words which need to be learned by

sight. Your child will be introduced to these words over the next eight

weeks.  Put the words on index cards to keep at home (and

in the car). Spend no more than 10 minutes daily practicing these words.

All work should be CHECKED and signed.

Please make sure your child's homework is done NEATLY and completed (including coloring) before you sign it.

Messy work will not be accepted.
