I began my teaching career at Sabal Palm Elementary school. I taught there
for ten successful, and enjoyable years. When an opportunity came to
transfer,I eagerly agreed. This is my thirteenth year at V.A.B. Highland
Oaks. Almost twenty-three years after beginning my career, I'm elated to say,
I still love what I do! I begin and end each day with a smile. I have
experience in the primary and intermediate grades. I've taught all levels
from remedial to advanced as well as gifted and ESE classes.
Your children are very important to me. They will be my priority and their
well-being will always come first. I'm approachable, fair, and honest. I
have high expectations and will provide challenging opportunities for your
child to grow both academically and socially.

multicultural institution where a team of teachers, parents and community
members inspire all students to achieve success and open their minds to the
endless opportunities for learning.
Mission: Virginia A. Boone Highland Oaks Elementary School prepares all
students, regardless of background, with academic knowledge and study skills
to perform on or above grade level and be able to compete in our global
