Home Learning should be a part of your daily routine like brushing your
teeth. It will be comprised of a daily written assignment in addition to a
daily reading assignment with a book of your own choosing (preferably an A.R.
book) which you will need to read for a minimum of thirty minutes. At times
you will be given an assignment that will be due later in the week, in the
month, or in the quarter. A book report and research assignment will be
given during each grading period. Please be sure to bring a book to class
every day for silent reading!!
Please manage your time wisely, and do not leave it to the
last day. Homework is expected to be turned in on the day it is due!!
Please be sure to copy your homework into your agenda each day, and check it
once you get home to be sure all work has been completed. I expect all home
learning to include the heading, be neat, and be done to the very best of
your ability. A home learning grade will be given to you during each grading
period.
If you are absent, simply check the classroom agenda where all Home Learning
assignments are noted, and the folder for worksheets, flyers, etc. Then see
me about when it is due. It is your responsibility to obtain all assignments
and turn them into me in a timely manner!!
