Parents,
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! 

*Parents, please make sure to send the $15 (cash) with your child as soon as possible for the End of the Year Luau!! We have special surprises in store that cannot be reserved without the money!!

*There will be no more Math pages to rip out!

*A new tab has been added titled Science that has vocabulary for the current chapter and important concepts from each lesson. I hope this is a helpful addition to the Science notes! Thanks Dasy!

*Parents, a new system has begun: Students will take their Math book home and rip out and bring the assigned pages on the cover of their homework packet.

*A new tab has been added titled Hispanic Heritage Day that has pictures of the event!

*Parents, we are in need of eraser tops for pencils. Please send a pack as soon as you are able!

*I want to give you all a big THANK YOU for helping your child practice the high-frequency words and the spelling words! I see a great improvement! We are definitely on the road to reading success!

*Our class has started a new pencil system, where pencils are shared by all students. A dull pencil is placed in a container and a sharp one is taken out from another container (pencils are sharpened by the teacher throughout the day). This was initiated to eliminate time wasted on sharpening pencils, and to reduce the amount of pencil sharpen on the floor. Please send a pack of pencils (if you have not already done so) at your earliest convenience to contribute to the class supply. (Note: If a student prefers to use a certain pencil and not share it with the class, they are responsible for sharpening it) Thank you so much for your cooperation!!
