Meet Mrs. Cervone

My name is Mrs. Cervone and I am pleased to be teaching  at McDonald Elementary.  This is my 
third year at McDonald. This year, I will be teaching 4th grade and am very 
excited to focus on Reading and Writing Instruction.  

This is my 14th year teaching with experiences ranging from middle school to elementary school.  I 
hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Reading from Saint 
Joseph's University in Pennsylvania (GO HAWKS!)  In December I will be completing a 2nd Master's 
Degree in Educational Leadership.  

I am married to a wonderful man and we moved to Florida together just a few 
years ago.   We have a little English Bulldog named Philly, who we just love and spoil her like you 
wouldn't believe.  This December, we are happy to be welcoming our first child, a boy, in to our 
family.  

I have AWESOME parents and a wonderful mother and father in law. I have two 
sisters, and several brothers and sisters in law who have given me many nieces and nephews to love.

I enjoy reading and going to the beach.  Mr. Cervone and I are big sports 
fans and you can usually find us at a baseball game every weekend in the 
summer. Go RAYS!
