****My list may be slightly different from the other kindergarten teachers,
as I already have a few of the materials that were originally requested on
the list provided at kindergarten orientation in the spring. Lucky you! :)
(Items that have a star next to them are community use items. You
will not need to put your child's name on these items.)
1 large plastic pencil box - 11 X 7 (Target carries them later in the
summer!)
1 box of WASHABLE markers
1 pair of child safety scissors
1 box of tissues
8 glue sticks *
1 liquid hand sanitizer or hand soap *
1 package of stickers *
1 disposable camera * (You will be asked to develop this later.)
1 box of snacks for the class *
1 pack of crayons (24 count)
2 paper towels *
1 pack of pencils *
1 box of Ziploc bags (snack, sandwich, or quart size - preferably the
ones that have the little nob that slides closed...easier for the
children to open and close) *
1 bag of individually wrapped candy
$5 to join PTA (can be paid at registration; checks payable to the
Britt David PTA)
*Please have supplies available by the first day of school, with your
child's name on each package in permanent marker. (You do not need to label
each crayon, marker, etc.)
*'Individual' items (markers, crayons, pencils, etc.) will only be used by
your child. 'Group' items (paper towels, tissues, sanitizer, etc.) will be
used as needed by the class.
*Please remember these supplies are used all year and may need to
be replenished during the year.
