About The Teacher

    
     I have been teaching for eighteen years, 12 of them at Britt David.  I 
have taught pre-kindergarten, first grade, second grade, Reading 
Recovery, and now I'm excited to be branching out to KINDERGARTEN!  I earned 
my Bachelor degree from Virginia Tech, my Master of Education degree at 
Auburn University, and my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership at 
Columbus State.  

     I have also been married for seventeen years, and I have two daughters - 
Emma, 9, and Ellie, 6.  My husband, Bill, is a very dedicated and 
hard working police sergeant and S.W.A.T. team member in our community.  Our 
families are from Richmond, Virginia, and we came to Columbus when my 
husband was a Ranger at Fort Benning.
