5th Grade Walk of Fame
Parent Information
Plan A – No Rain
• 5th grade parents meet at 11:30 at the track. (If you need to check
out younger siblings it needs to be done by 11:15)
• After the students leave the track parents can congregate at the
marquee to wave good-bye or leave to meet their children at their bus stop.
• If their students are car riders, they need to get in the car rider
line and follow regular procedures.
• Parents will not be allowed in the building, including bus port until
after dismissal for safety reasons.
Plan B – Rain
• 5th grade parents need to be at school by 11:30 and go to the
cafeteria or gym to find a spot for the 5th grade walk.
• The 5th grade walk will begin at 12:00.
• After the 5th graders walk through the cafeteria/gym, parents will
need to leave to get their cars and meet their children at their bus stops,
or they may wave goodbye to their children down the sidewalk near the bus
entrance.
• If their students are car riders, they need to get in the car rider
line and follow regular procedures.
• Parents will not be allowed in the building, including bus port until
after dismissal for safety reasons.
