Welcome Back and Happy New Year!
We are planning "Immigration Day" for fifth grade on Friday, January 27,
2011. We will be recreating Ellis Island in the fifth grade hall. We are
looking for volunteers to help us with this event. We need parent volunteers
that speak another language fluently. We would need your sevices from about
8:15 to 11:15 or so. If you can volunteer, please contact me through e mail.
Chocolate Day!
Today students were given the chocolate packet! This is a intergrated unit
on chocolate. Students will have one month to complete the project.
Students will do most of this project at home. They will be bringing the
project back and forth from school to home to work on. Most of the project
will be done at home. Students must recieve 170 points to participate in
Chocolate Day on February 14. Please let me know if you have any questions.
