In Language Arts, we read several books identifying characters, setting,
problem and solutions. We discussed the beginning middle and end of our
stories.
In math,we continue graphing, understanding the calendar,positional
words,counting objects to 30, geometrical shapes, patterning, number words,
measurement, graphing and sorting.
In writing, we worked on our memory books
Coming Up…
This week we will continue on parts of the book. We will continue
our weekly poems and the morning message where the children will be
fixing sentences that are written incorrectly. The blend of the week will
be "ch". The endings we will be working on is -ap. The words of the week
will be "ate", "our" and "take".
In math,we will continue working on ordinal numbers,counting ,comparing
amounts, measurement, graphing, patterning, counting objects to 30 and
writing amounts, and number recognition to 30.
In writing, we will begin writing stories including a beginning, middle and
end. I will encourage them to apply their sight words.
In Social Studies, we will be reviewing our nation. We will be reviewing our
address, city, county, state, nation, and continent
