I am a wife and a mother of two girls. One attends Cheatham Hill and the
other Hillgrove High School. They are the love of my life. I love children
and love to watch them grow and learn. This school year marks my 24th year
in the classroom. I have taught 4th and 5th grades and really enjoy the
curriculum of both, however, 5th grade is my favorite. I recently received my
Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. I
received my M.Ed. at Kennesaw State University and my BA from Clark College
both in Early Childhood Education. I have received certifications in other
fields-Gifted Education and TSS. I plan to have a wonderful year with my
new fifth grade class!
My mission for the 2011-2012 5th grade class is to believe in themselves
give their best, and love learning.
