not need to return this to school. This may take the place of their
nightly reading. The students may write the title of the reading
passage on their class reading log.
-Please return library books as soon as possible. We are going to the

Math-We began the fabulous unit on fractions. There's no fractions homework
tonight. The students also took an addition time test. If they scored
less than 90%, they have 200 problems to do for homework. If they score
less than 90% on any other operational time tests, they will have
practice problems for homework. These facts must be mastered.

-Canned Food Drive Until October 18th--Cheatham Hill is participating in a
canned food drive to benefit Calvary Children’s Home which provides a loving
and nurturing residential environment for children of special circumstances.
Donations may be made to the bins in the hallway. Calvary can use all non-
perishable items, in bulk and family size: Canned goods (veggies, fruit,
tuna, chicken, etc),Pasta noodles, Snack foods (what do your kid’s like),
Personal care items (shampoo, deodorant, soap, etc), Cleaning supplies
(laundry detergent, bathroom cleaner, dish soap, etc).
