My name is Toni Goggins and I will be your child's 4th grade teacher. I am
married and I have a son named Gregory. He is a 7th grade student at
Lovinggood. We are very active in Boy Scouts and enjoy spending time
outside.
I have been teaching in Cobb County since 1989. I graduated from the
University of Akron (Ohio) and then moved to Cobb County. After living here
several years I went to Kennesaw and earned my Masters in Education.
I value learning and education. I believe the best way to improve your
situation is through education and learning. No matter ones age or ablility
level, we can all learn new things in life.
I hope to make this a memorable year for you and your child. I believe
learning can be fun and enjoyable. Children learn by doing and I will do
hands on activities as much as possible. I will stress responsiblilty and
respect. Both are very important for learning to occur. I am here to help
your child grow and mature through the year. Your child's job is to put
forth effort and to try his/her very best. Working together, I know we can
bring out the life long learner in your child and the desire to do his/her
best at all times.
