I was born and raised (with exception of my 10th grade year when I moved to
Nashville) in Cobb County attending Cobb schools. I graduated from
Sprayberry High School in 1980. My husband, Dan (who graduated from North
Cobb High School), myself
and my two children, Lee (21) and Brittany (18) live in West Cobb. My son
is a junior at GA State University in Atlanta and my daughter Brittany is a
Freshman at GA Southern University in Statesboro. I love to spend time with
my family and enjoy watching my daughter
play fastpitch softball.
I have been teaching for 13 years. I have taught both 2nd and 3rd grades.
This is my third year at Cheatham Hill. I taught for 10 years at Vaughan
Elementary before moving to Cheatham Hill. I am very excited about this
year's class
and look forward to a GREAT year at Cheatham Hill!!
My mission in class is to create a learning environment where my students
experience lifelong learning in a safe, loving atmosphere and a place where
learning is interesting, exciting, and challenging so that the students can
grow to their highest potential.
