How old does my child need to be to refer them for an evaluation?

Children who qualify are eligible for therapy once they turn three. The
referral process takes quite a while. So, if you can contact the speech
department when your child is 2&1/2, it will give you plenty of time to
complete the initial paperwork, have your child evaluated, and go over the
results of the evaluation in order for them to begin services on their third
birthday.
