As you all know, an hour or two of speech therapy a week is not going
to "cure" your child. Most of your child's progress is going to be based on
how you can integrate and carryover what your child learns in therapy into
the home environment. Therefore, I will be sending home activities and
suggestions for you to try at home based on activities we have done that week
or throughout our unit.
The most important thing you can do with your child is READ! Reading is the
best way to improve your child's vocabulary and is the number 1 predictor of
academic success.
