This week we learned about presidents and friends. We have also learned about when events occur: morning, afternoon and evening. 

Next week we will conclude our unit on friends as well as continue our unit on presidents. There are several events that are happening that are important.

VALENTINES – Please let your CHILD write their names and their friends’ names on their valentines. Please send them on Monday or Tuesday.

Q&U WEDDING is Feb. 14^th.  If you would like to join us please meet us at 12:25 at Mrs. Taylor’s room. It should last about 45 minutes. Please dress your child in dress clothes. This is NOT a PE day, so dress shoes would be appropriate if they are comfortable enough.

PATRIOTIC PARADE – We will parade around the school on Friday, Feb. 17^thbeginning at 1:30. This is a fun way that we can show our patriotism to the entire school. We will walk around and sing patriotic songs and end with a pledge of allegiance.

Please keep reading! Six Flags reading and Rocket Reader should both be a part of your homework. Your books can count for both programs, so read, read, read and enjoy. Please return both forms to me on Feb. 29.
