Wow, can you believe how much your child has grown this year? It is amazing to watch them mature and grow. It has been my privilege to get to spend this year with your child. Thank you so much for being supportive and helpful with all of our projects. If your child wants to tell me what they have been doing this summer, have them email me. I will check my school email at least once a week.jonna.way@cobbk12.org
Tomorrow – remember – NO BACKPACKS or LUNCH BOXES. If you want to bring your lunch, it needs to come in a disposable bag.
Today we visited Mrs. Ramsey’s first grade class. Here are some suggestions for summer preparation for first grade.
- Read a lot!
- Learn to tie your shoes if you don’t know how.
- Learn to ride a bike without training wheels –but wear a helmet every time you ride something with wheels.
The county passed our budget this week and it changed our school calendar a little bit. Here is a link to the calendar for next year.
