My name is Doug Davis. This is my second year teaching with three years of
experience:) I actually taught third grade for one year and felt as though
I was called into church ministry. I have been a youth minister for the
past
8 years. Of late God has been changing my ministry into more of a
teaching/discipleship role. With out a doubt I can say that this is why God
led me here to this position.
I also will be coaching middle school football. This sport has been very
influential in my life. I became a Christian through Godly friends on my
football team in college. I just want to be able to show a Christ-like
attitude and Christ-like life in everything I do!
The goal for this class is for students to learn how to Love God with all
their heart, MIND, and soul. Also in 2Peter 1:4, I want them to abide by
this verse throughout the year..."Therefore, make every effort to add to
your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-
control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
and ti godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love."
