During the month of November our theme will be "Suffering". In
History the class will be studying World War I and II. We will be
reading stories of people who lived through the horror of World War II and
suffered at the hands of the Nazis. The students will be reading books and
doing a class presentation on a concept from that time in history.
Our Bible lessons will come from the book of James. This book teaches us
that our faith must be lived out...that just believing isn't enough if it
doesn't move us to action. The characters we are studying were moved to
endanger themselves in order to protect those being persecuted by the Nazi
government of Germany. What would we do in similar circumstances?
