WELCOME TO
THE COLUMBUS HIGH SCHOOL
SOPHOMORE WEBSITE

Here you can find a wealth of information for parents and sophomore students as they travel on their path to graduation and higher learning.  My mission as the sophomore counselor is to help students on their journey through high school by practicing all three domains of school counseling: academic, career, and personal/social development and by working collaboratively with parents, students, teachers and administration. My responsibilities include: scheduling and attending parent/teacher conferences,  providing academic support and guidance, conducting classroom guidance on a variety of topics, offering group counseling after school on topics, such as college planning and career exploration, advising and planning of junior schedules, writing letters of recommendation, providing personal counseling and crisis referrals, assisting with parent education nights, open house, as well extra-curricular events and activities.

Please be sure to check this web site periodically. Information listed in the left column changes as we move through the school year.  If you have any suggestions concerning any information that you would like to see posted on the website,  please feel free to contact me with any suggestions -- just click on "E-mail Mrs. Harnois" to the left of this page.

I care about the overall success of your teen!
