How do I contact Mrs. Norris?

In addition to sending a note with your child, I can be reached by e-mail 
and phone.

How do I set up a conference?

Send a note or e-mail and I will set aside a time for us to meet.  Please 
include a few days and times that you are available.  This will help me to 
work around your schedule and my duties at DCE.

How many A.R. points does my child have to earn?

Each student's A. R. goals are set individually.  
Since goals are based on persoanlized reading levels, this is a goal each student should achieve.  
In addition to time provided in class, each student is expected to read at home every day 
for at least 30 minutes.  This will help each student meet the fourth grade standard of reading one million words.

How often do you go to the computer lab?

We have a regularly scheduled time each Monday and alternate Fridays.  We also go at other 
times as needed.  I feel it is important to take students to the lab often.  
We do activities that reinforce classroom content, basic skills, and 
increase proficiency with technology.
