DESCRIPTION

The purpose of web design is to emphasize configurations, systems, programming and problem solving,

design specifications, testing, career exploration, laws, and ethics.

 

GOALS/OBJECTIVES:
Students will be able to perform many of the tasks necessary to become a web master.
• Students will create and maintain a personal web page throughout the semester.
• Students will understand how technology will play an ever-increasing role in many careers.
• Students will utilize attachment capabilities of e-mail to transfer various files.
• Students will collaborate with teachers in creating web pages for classroom use.
• Web page design topics including white space, page content background creation, image creation,

tables, frames, drop down menus and forms will be used to improve web design skills.
• The importance of database management will be emphasized through the collection of data.
• Internet topics such as e-mail preferences, helpers, plug-ins, and preference configurations will be discussed.
• Students will maintain e-mail accounts.
