She began her teaching career at J.D. Davis Elementary in Columbus, GA in
1984. She served in a school in Alabama for 13 years, and is excited
about being back in the Muscogee County School District. Mrs. Ward received
her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Auburn University in Auburn,
Alabama. She loves her Auburn Tigers and during football season is
frequently heard yelling "War Eagle" at the Auburn football games!
Mrs. Ward has been married to Jeff Ward for 26 years. They have two
children. Jeffrey is 25 and a graduate of the University of
Georgia. He currently lives in Charleston, S.C. and will be entering
Charleston University School of Law in the Fall. Alissa is 22 and a graduate
of the John Paul Mitchell School in Atlanta. She works at Salon Alexandar in
Buckhead, downtown Atlanta,on Peachtree. Mrs. Ward loves to spend time with
her family and particularly cherishes their family fishing trip memories!
Dogs are her favorite pet. She has two dogs, a black lab named "Coby" and a
black Shih-poo named "Bailey". She also enjoys spending time at their second
home in Acworth, Georgia. It is here that she can spend lots of time shopping
which is one of her favorite things to do! Technology has always intrigued
Mrs. Ward, and she realizes the importance of staying on top of the latest
trends...however challenging this may be! She appreciates any tips you may
have to help her make this website the best information portal available.
Mrs. Ward is passionate about learning and helping others reach their
learning goals. Her number one priority is to encourage her students to
become life-long learners. Mrs. Ward's mission and vision is the same as
