Committees If you are interested in helping with any of the PTA committees, please view the committees tab, then contact the person listed on the PTA Board page or submit an email through the PTA Email tab.
Room Parents Each classroom will need one or two parents to take the lead and become a room parent. As the room parent, you will be responsible for communicating with the teacher & lead classroom parent coordinator, keeping your room parents up-to-date on needed information, helping to organize classroom activities & celebrations, be involved with the PTA planning committees when needed, and help organize your classroom participation in special school events. If you are interested in becoming a room parent for your child's class, please notify your child's teacher. A lead classroom parent coordinator will be in contact with each classroom representative.
Scholastic Book Fair Volunteers are needed to help man the book fair. The book fair will be open from 8:00 - 2:30. Volunteers assist the children in choosing books and help to keep the book fair organized. If you are willing to work a shift or two, please contact Leslie Bellware. The volunteers would be responsible for representing our school on the assigned days throughout the school year. While at the Sara Spano Clothing Bank, the volunteer will help collect items dropped off, sort clothes, and experience a rewarding day as the volunteer helps children in need find clothes to send home. Children usually leaves with new shoes on their feet and very proud on their new items! This is a VERY REWARDING volunteer opportunity! If you are interested, please contact Lezli Braswell.
