Welcome to first grade! I am so happy to have your child in our class this
year! I am from Atlanta and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from
Brenau College. This is my 11th year in the classroom. (I took 10 years off
to stay home with my girls after 6 years of teaching.) This is my 5th year
back in the classroom and I am delighted to be teaching first grade! I have
experience in kindergarten, first, second and third grade.
I have been married to my husband Jay for 18 years. We have three girls,
Emily(15),a sophmore at CHS, Madeline(13), a eighth grader at Blackmon
Road and Abby(9),a fourth grader here at Eagle Ridge. We also have two Jack
Russell Terriers "Dixie" and "Daisy" and a cat "Zoe".
I am so happy to be your child's first grade teacher at Eagle Ridge. We are
going to have a great year of learning and fun!
