Welcome to first grade! I am so happy to have your child in our class this
year! I am from Atlanta and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from
Brenau College. This is my 13th year in the classroom. (I took 10 years off
to stay home with my girls after 6 years of teaching.) This is my 7th year
back in the classroom and I am delighted to be teaching first grade! I have
experience in kindergarten, first, second and third grade.
I have been married to my husband Jay for 20 years. We have three girls;
Emily(17),a senior at CHS, Madeline(15), a sophmore at CHS and Abby(11),a
sixth grader at Saint Luke. We also have two pugs "Fergie" and "Bentley" and
two cats "Zoe" and "Sloan".
I am so happy to be your child's first grade teacher at Eagle Ridge. We are
going to have a great year of learning and fun!
