Our ERA third graders have the opportunity to attend the Springer
Children’s Theater presentation of “James and the Giant Peach”. We will be
reading the book prior to attending the live performance on March 25. If
past performances of “The BFG” are any indication, this play will be a real
treat – especially for those children who have never before experienced live

With the ongoing budget woes of the school district, we are unable to
fund the trip through the school. We are asking parents who are able, to
please send $6.00 to cover the cost of this special day. Tickets for the
show are $5.00 for students (and adults). The extra dollar is to cover the
cost of the bus transportation. Any parents who are interested in attending
need to send their $5.00 along with the chidren’s money. We need to let the
Springer know two weeks in advance, how many extra seats we will need.
Seating is limited due to the size of the facility.
Please send cash only, in an envelope labeled with your child’s
name. We would like to have all money receipted by March 19.
