Children must fill out a Graphic Organizer sheet on one chapter book and one
non-fiction book each nine weeks. On all other books they can choose to take
a AR test. If the test is not passed with an 80% score they will need to
fill out a graphic organizer to receive credit for that book.
All students should complete 20 chapter books and 6 non-fiction books by the
end of the third nine weeks. Please check their log sheet to help them stay
on track. Fourth grade students read 25 chapter books by the end of the year
to meet MCSD standards.
If your child is reading a large chapter book it can count for two.
Homework assignments will be written daily by students in their Green Agenda
Books.
PARENTS MULTIPLICATION FACTS !!!! All Fourth Grade Students should know all
their multiplication facts and be able to do 100 problems in 5 minutes.

Projects are assigned throughout the nine weeks. We are studying about
Geometrical shapes for a project that is due on February 14th.
