Hello! I am so happy to be your child's teacher this school year. I have
taught kindergarten and first grade for a total of 17 years. I received my
Early Childhood Education degree from Valdosta State University and my
Masters in Elementary Education from Troy State University. Columbus is
where I was born and raised and happy to call home. My husband and I have an
18 year old daughter, Kaitlin, a 13 year old son, Cal, and a 6 year old
daughter, Ally.
My mission for the class is for each child to feel happy to be at school and
to begin a lifelong love of learning new things. Our classroom is our home
away from home and our classmates become our second family. I aim to truly
get to know each child and to guide each one along a path of academic
success.
