Welcome to Mrs. Rhodes and Mrs. B's Pre-K class
***Class News***
In our Classroom:
January has gotten us in the wintery mood and we will continue to study the
weather changes and how they affect our community. In February we will begin
taking a closer look at our wonder "Community Helpers". There is no job that
is too big or too small- we will learn to appreciate them all! Our room will
eventually transform into our very own little town, giving us the opportunity
to learn to help one another!
Our Time to Shine:
This could be an awesome time to bring in pictures of our parents or friends
at work. This might help us to become more aware of the community helpers
that live in our own homes and neighborhoods!
We are doing really well with our Show and Tell. Please remember to only
allow your child to bring in an item on their day and that they
only choose one item to share. Show and Tell must still follow school rules.
(No glass or weapons- including toy weapons) Our Show and Tell items must
easily fit into our bookbag.
Extra Information:
* Breakfast (optional) is served from 7:30- 7:45
* $0.95 for Breakfast
* Lunch will be served at 10:15
* $1.85 for Lunch
* The cafeteria CANNOT accept checks! Please send lunch money in an envelope
with Your Name and Lunch Money listed on the front (Please place your
envelope in the small pouch of your daily folder!)
* We have a rest time daily- please bring a light blanket or Beach Towel and
a small travel-sized pillow to be left in your cubby. (This will be sent home
every other Friday for cleaning!)
* Please send in a (season appropriate) spare change of clothes, we will keep
them in the classroom!
