Dear Parents,
Homework is so important in first grade. It reinforces what
we are teaching in the classroom. It is very important that
your child completes his/her homework each week. Please realize
that your child may require some help. Also, please check your
child's homework packet before it is turned in on Thursday. Homework
that is not done correctly or completed will be sent back home
to be finished/corrected.
A homework packet will be sent home in the Eagle Eye Binder on
Monday and it is due back by Thursday. Students are expected to
place their homework packet in the Eagle Eye Binder when it is
completed. Homework packets are accepted on Thursday. Please do
not turn in parts of the packet, instead wait until the entire
packet is complete to return it. The Reading Log is part of the
homework. Please fill in the name of the book when it is completed.
If it is a chapter book please write chapter beside the entry.
