Eaglet of the Month
'Eaglets' Of The Month
Although all students are celebrated in our class for their unique personalities and what they bring to the classroom environment, The 'Eaglet' Of The Month is a special way to honor those students that go above and beyond. Each month a student is chosen to represent our class school wide. The students are chosen at the end of each month. The student is honored for his/her accomplishments and ability to successfully meet his/her goal. The information below are the ways that an 'Eaglette' of the Month is chosen.
Criteria for becoming 'Eaglet' of the month
The following are ways to become the Eaglet of the Month:
The student has had all green cards in behavior for the month.
The student has displayed responsibility by: returning his/her behavior log each day, Monday folder each Tuesday, and Homework folder each Monday.
The student is working toward, or has met his/her goal set for him/her.
The student has displayed good character and works well with his/her classmates.
The student serves as a role model for his/her classmates.
August - EOM
September - EOM
Joseph was chosen as our Eaglet of the Month because he is a hard working student that shows responsibility in class. He has earned the Green Club each week for superior behavior and completes assignments in class. Joseph has met many of his reading and math goals and is a member of the Alphabet Club, Popcorn Club, Accelerated Reading Club, and Number Club. When asked, Joseph says that he wants to be a sherriff when he grows up. His favorite color is black and he loves to eat potato chips.

Kayden is our October Eaglet of the Month based on his hard work and determination. Kayden has reached his goal of identifying letters and sounds, and reading 30+ sight words in a minute. He has shown responsibility with returning homework and all of his folders. Kayden's desire to learn new things and work hard at school is contagious. He has served as a great role model and we are so proud of him. We would like to say a special thank you to Kayden's family for all of the donations to class. Congratulations, Kayden!
